Just hanging out
Well today we are just resting. They have stepped back on her diuretics because her blood stream was drying out, but she has actually swelled some in the face. They are going to be trying to balance her all day. Her lung x-ray this morning show they had not gotten worse, which the doctors apparently expected. They will do another later today as well as an ultrasound to check on her liver and gallbladder. According to the doc her blood numbers seem to be showing that her liver is now functioning on its own and maintaining certain levels on its own. They have also found and narrowed down the bacteria that might be causing some of the newer issues and messing with her lungs. She is recieving some antibiotics for it, but they are looking for a more specific one. Here’s hoping it kicks in soon.
Sounds like she is stable which is wonderful! It also sounds like they are making progress in figuring out exactly what is going on. Thanks for updating this blog. I check it often hoping there has been a post! Tell Netta and Becton hi for me.
Ali,
Thank you so much for including us in your blog! We had originally heard the news of her illness from your Aunt Dottie and have held you all in thought and prayer and will continue.
Hoping she has a better night. Take care. Vicki and Ray Musser
Steven,
Since hearing about your daughter, I have been adding her, you and your wife to my prayers. We have had plenty of opportunity (given all the projects we have worked on together) to discuss the miracle that your daughter is (given the different issues since birth); I truly believe that God will continue to bless her. I will continue to keep your family in my prayers.

What wonderful news! Lots of small improvements add up to big improvements! Thanks for letting us know. Hopefully she’ll have a good night as well.
