Small Improvements
Adela’s x-ray this morning showed some improvement in her lungs (yeah!). However between the pressure setting on the ventilator and the fact the lungs were weaken during the incident the other morning she is/was leaking air into her chest cavity. They are weaning down the pressure and said she will reabsorb the air. However the air is keeping them from getting a clear ultrasound of her belly – to see her liver and gall bladder. According to her latest blood draw her liver numbers are slowly climbing which is great news. Her swelling is still really bad, however they have put her back on diuretics and she has begun to pass some fluid. Here’s hoping she will pass it without “drying out” her blood this time. Her fever seems to be gone as well. So lots of good little pieces of news today.

We want to let everyone know that all the prayers that have been sent up for Adela have been heard. Adela is truely a precious child of God and we know he is taking care of her. Steven and Ali have are the very best and loving parents that a child could want. They have taken care of our sweet Granddaughter and have shown others.that a parents love for their child is neverending. We are so proud of them and love them so much. Adela is truely blessed.
I am very happy to read about the small the victories. Remember it take a lot of little battles to win the war. I love the improvements you have done to the site. Very Very nice, you need to change the text color in the comment box to something other then yellow….yellow on a white back ground is fun to read. Talk to ya’ll.
