Pizza and Pictures

As this is my first post to Adela’s blog, I’d like to say hello to everyone who reads this and to thank all our friends and family for their continued support, prayers, and well-wishes.

Also, I have to extend a special “thank you” to Gary Rudd and everyone at the South East Durham Rudino’s.  Before all the events of the past few weeks, one of Adela’s favorite things to eat was chicken and french fries from Rudino’s.  We have become regulars there — to the point that most everyone knows our standard order.  So, it means a great deal to both Ali and I that everyone there is thinking of us.  And, it was a wonderful surprise when Gary not only brought us lunch, but also pizzas for the PICU nurses on Friday.
