Just Resting

Adela is continuing to do well on the decreased ventilator settings and they are considering extabating sometime tomorrow.  She is getting plenty of rest and seems relatively comfortable.  All her blood numbers are looking good except for one enzyme that is related to bile production / gallbladder.  They were able to get some images from an ultrasound this afternoon (even with the air retention) but we haven’t heard anything yet.  The liver/GI doctor on-call did tell the general doctor that is wasn’t something to worry about at this time,  but I’m sure they will continue to monitor it as it was quite high.
