Adela’s x-ray this morning showed some improvement in her lungs (yeah!).\u00a0 However between the pressure setting on the ventilator and the fact the lungs were weaken during the incident the other morning she is\/was leaking air into her chest cavity.\u00a0 They are weaning down the pressure and said she will reabsorb the air.\u00a0 However the air is keeping them from getting a clear ultrasound of her belly – to see her liver and gall bladder.\u00a0 According to her latest blood draw her liver numbers are slowly climbing which is great news.\u00a0 Her swelling is still really bad, however they have put her back on diuretics and she has begun to pass some fluid.\u00a0 Here’s hoping she will pass it without “drying out” her blood this time.\u00a0 Her fever seems to be gone as well.\u00a0 So lots of good little pieces of news today.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
