After a few long days (and nights) over at the hospital, we’re back home.\u00a0 Adela is feeling much better and, looking at her, you wouldn’t think she was ever sick.<\/p>\n
Turns out it was the urinary tract infection that was causing most of the problems.\u00a0 While at the hospital, she had some medicine that was especially for the pain caused by UTIs and that stopped the pain within half a day.\u00a0 After that, it was just a matter of giving the antibiotics time to work on the infection.\u00a0 She’ll keep on the antibiotics here at home for a week and a half and then, should have a clean bill of health.<\/p>\n
She was very excited to be able to eat and drink starting Tuesday afternoon since she had not been allowed to have anything for a few days.\u00a0 She started off with her pretzel sticks and, Wednesday after we got home, she tried some chicken.\u00a0 Everything is setting well in her tummy and she’s back on her nightly regiment of Elecare as well.\u00a0 I think she’s just happy to not be hungry at this point.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
