As this is my first post to Adela’s blog, I’d like to say hello to everyone who reads this and to thank all our friends and family for their continued support, prayers, and well-wishes.<\/p>\n

Also, I have to extend a special “thank you” to Gary Rudd and everyone at the South East Durham Rudino’s.\u00a0 Before all the events of the past few weeks, one of Adela’s favorite things to eat was chicken and french fries from Rudino’s.\u00a0 We have become regulars there — to the point that most everyone knows our standard order.\u00a0 So, it means a great deal to both Ali and I that everyone there is thinking of us.\u00a0 And, it was a wonderful surprise when Gary not only brought us lunch, but also pizzas for the PICU nurses on Friday.<\/p>\n
