Late Night, Good Night
Just a quick note: They felt Adela was doing well on the last mode on her ventilator that they are stepping her down again to an even more independent mode – it is totally her breathing with just a little support to overcome the tube pressure and the computer will kick in if she does take too few breaths. Yea! Hopefully she will continue to do well throughout the night.

That is wonderful news about the ventilator! Adela is definitely one tough little ladybug. We love the updates and especially love to see all the progress she is making. Love and prayers.

What great news! It won’t be long now and hopefully she won’t need it at all! It is so wonderful to hear that she is getting better!
Ok, so Ali’s daddy is a Luddite, and cannot appreciate cellphones let-alone blogs and
may have made Ali uncomfortable about starting this site——–
if he did, this is a formal apology before the entire world– or whoever can read this.
I’m very glad that this Ladybug Blog exists——- seems to be serving a very important purpose— and Ali and Steven are doing the same extraordinary job with it that they have always done as parents. We all know they’re special.
There are a lot of wonderful technologies here in the ICU that are keeping Adela safe and helping her as the docs try to sort out her unique metabolism. They are, as many comment, blessings and answers to prayers.
Thank you from Carlos and Cindy (Gramma and Grumpa) to all who are caring for and about our Adela Marie…. Couldn’t have told you all w/o the blog!
